Website rescue

Hacked, broken or out of your hands? I bring it back.

Four problems, four fixed-price ways out: a site that is hacked or broken, one you are locked out of, one nobody looks after, or one where you simply do not know who controls what.

Hacked, broken or “Not secure”

Strange redirects, spam on your pages, a security warning, or a site that broke after an update.

Quick fix

from A$235

For a contained problem.

  • Broken page after an update
  • Expired or misconfigured security certificate
  • Common errors and settings problems

Locked out of your own website

Your developer stopped replying, or nobody has the logins for the site, hosting or domain.

Access Rescue

from A$420

One fixed fee to find out who holds what and get you back in control.

  • Find who holds your domain, hosting and site
  • Help with the requests to your developer and registrar
  • Domain, hosting and backups set up in your name
  • Plain-English handover and password manager setup

A website nobody looks after

Built years ago and left alone: out of date, no backups, and nobody sure where it lives.

Website Takeover

from A$590

Bring an abandoned site back under your control.

  • Audit of the site, hosting and domain
  • Move to accounts in your name (where possible)
  • Backup first, then updates and security basics
  • Handover guide and password manager setup

Not sure who controls what?

Start here. I only use public information, so no passwords are needed.

Free control check

A$0

No obligation. If you want help with what I find, I will quote separately.

  • Who is listed as domain registrant (where public)
  • Domain and security certificate expiry dates
  • Where the site is hosted and what it is built on
  • A short list of what to fix first

Prices in AUD. Fixed quote after a quick check. Registrar fees, such as a change of registrant, are charged separately by the registrar. I do not give legal advice.

How a rescue works

  1. Tell me what is wrong

Describe what you see and send the address. Screenshots help.

  2. Free check

I look at your site, domain and hosting the way a visitor or a search engine would.

  3. Fixed quote

You get a written price before I touch anything.

  4. Fix and handover

I repair or recover it, take a backup, and hand you the logins and a short guide so it stays yours.

Questions people ask

Can you get my domain back?

It depends on whose name is on the registration and whether they cooperate. The first step is finding that out. I will tell you honestly what is possible and I cannot guarantee an outcome.

Do you need my passwords?

I will never ask you to email passwords. We set up access safely, and I only work on accounts with your written authorisation.

Can you remove the Google warning?

After cleaning the site I help you request a review through Google Search Console. How long Google takes is up to Google.

Will I lose my content?

I take a copy before changing anything, and restore from a clean backup when there is one.

Does it matter if my domain is a .com.au?

Yes. A .com.au domain must be held by an entity with an Australian presence, such as a business with an ABN. I check this as part of the plan.

Tell me what is going on

Send the address and a few words about the problem. I will come back with a free check and, if you want, a fixed quote.
